what receiver should i buy? For a home theatre and home audio system?

ok it sounds to me like your looking for a fiew things. what I reccomend is a reciever with 2 zone audio. You can get yamaha, denon, or marantz for a good price and they all are good, user friendly, and pretty easy to set up. Now for controll over the whole house you can use a rf remote from universal remotes like the mx 900 with a ir repeater like the mrf350. if you have multiple rooms then you will want to look into a speaker selecter with volume contolls. Nile makes a good one....

car audio wire has better insulation and it is more durable. You can use house audio wire but it wont sound as good. plus you want to prolly use bigger gage of wire if you are hooking up subs!...
